Both the boiler serial and Gas Council numbers will be saved onto the software, but finding them will depend on your device...
Even through the boiler serial and Gas Council numbers for an appliance don't appear on any certificates, it's an easy process to locate these fields within the software.
Once you've logged onto the Gas Engineer Software website, navigate to the job address tab at the top of the page. From here you'll want to use the search bar about a third of the way down the page to locate the property the appliance belongs to.
After you've selected the property, you should be taken to a page that looks like this...
Beneath the yellow box containing the job address details will be a row of tabs. You'll want to select' gas appliances', the second tab from the left. A list of all the gas appliances created for that job address will then be shown.
If you click on one of the gas appliances, a small window will appear showing all the appliance details including the boiler serial and Gas Council numbers.
Locating the boiler serial and Gas Council numbers on the Gas Engineer Software app is a similar process to finding them on the website.
From the Home screen of the app, select the 'Job Addresses' tab and then, using the search bar at the top of the app, search for the property the appliance is attached to.
Open the property by tapping on it and then scroll down to the very bottom to find the 'gas appliances' field. Tapping on this will open a list of the appliances that you have created for the property and selecting one of these will show you all the appliance details, including the boiler serial and Gas Council numbers.
